Our Conductivity Transmitters are RoHS Compliant

Our Conductivity Transmitters are RoHS Compliant

At Pathfinder Instruments, we want to ensure that our products are not only highly reliable and effective but also safe to use. That is why we are so proud of the fact that many of our Pathfinder conductivity transmitters are now RoHS compliant.

What Is RoHS?

RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. In 2002, the European Union developed and adopted Directive 2002/95/EU, which identified and restricted the use of six hazardous materials in any products made or shipped within the European Union. Since that time, the EU has added more substances to the list, bringing it to a total of 10 restricted substances.

Here is the full list:

·         Lead: < 1000 ppm

·         Mercury: < 100 ppm

·         Cadmium: < 100 ppm

·         Hexavalent Chromium: < 1000 ppm

·         Polybrominated Biphenyls: < 1000 ppm

·         Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers: < 1000 ppm

·         Bis (2-Ethylhexyl) Phthalate: < 1000 ppm

·         Benzyl Butyl Phthalate: < 1000 ppm

·         Dibutyl Phthalate: < 1000 ppm

·         Diisobutyl Phthalate: < 1000 ppm

At Pathfinder Instruments, the conductivity transmitters that meet the RoHS standards include:

·         Pathfinder CT-1000

·         Pathfinder CT-1000PT

·         Pathfinder HPT-12 Resistivity Transmitter

·         Pathfinder HPT-20 Resistivity Transmitter
